2026 NFL draft: Tennessee Titans enter Week 11 holding top spot in the draft

With Week 10 of the NFL season winding down, it won’t be too long before the 1-8 Tennessee Titans return to the practice field to start preparations for their Week 11 matchup with the Houston Texans

Tennessee has eight games remaining in what has been a disappointing 2025 campaign, and many fans have already shifted their priorities, talking more about draft position in the 2026 NFL draft than the incremental improvements made in recent weeks.

This is a natural evolution for a disappointed fan base, especially with the Titans’ current rookie class rapidly developing into potential core pieces moving forward. After the release of Quandre Diggs, another one of those rookies, Kevin Winston Jr., should take on an expanded role on defense.

Through nine games, Mike Borgonzi’s first draft class has given fans some hope that they can add some more playmakers and potential foundational pieces through the draft. What transpired on the field Sunday, while the Titans were on their bye, had a significant impact on where Tennessee would pick if the season ended today.

After wins by the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Titans now hold the first overall selection for a second straight NFL draft. While there is a long way to go before this becomes a reality, it is definitely something to monitor as we enter the home stretch.

The Titans will be back in action on Sunday when they face the Houston Texans in some AFC South action.
