New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs turned heads during a sideline moment in Thursday’s game against the New York Jets.
The veteran wide receiver snagged a pass from quarterback Drake Maye, before running out of bounds and attempting to toss the ball to an unsuspecting cheerleader watching from the sidelines. She attempted to adjust for the pass, but it went through her hands for an incompletion.
To be fair, it would have been hard for even an NFL receiver to snag a pass while holding pom poms. Former Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty sent out a hilarious social media post after the play.
“Bruh what’s wrong with Stefon Diggs,” McCourty posted on X, followed by three laughing emojis.

Maye has been surgical throwing the ball throughout the season, and it looked like Diggs wanted to get in on the action as well.
Unfortunately, he threw one of the few incomplete passes for the Patriots all game.
