NEW YORK – One of the most significant women’s title fights in MMA history is now hours away after Valentina Shevchenko and Zhang Weili completed their final faceoff at UFC 322 ceremonial weigh-ins.
Shevchenko (25-4-1 MMA, 14-3-1 UFC) will attempt to add to her iconic run at women’s flyweight when she seeks yet another title defense, this time against two-time strawweight champion Weili (26-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC), who is chasing her own history by becoming the second female to win titles in multiple divisions.

Both women know what’s at stake, and they were locked in as they stood in front of each other for the final time before sharing the octagon in Saturday’s co-main event at Madison Square Garden (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews, FX, Disney+, ESPN+).
