After the game time for the Oregon Ducks’ Week 13 matchup against the USC Trojans was originally put on a six-day hold by the Big Ten Conference, fans are finally finding out when this rivalry matchup will take place.
It was announced on Saturday night that the Ducks‘ game vs. the Trojans will take place at 12:30 p.m. PT, aired on CBS in Autzen Stadium.
While the newest rankings have not come out after Week 12 just yet, there is an expectation that this will be a top-15 matchup in Eugene, with Oregon likely moving up to No. 6 in the nation, and USC potentially at No. 15 after their win over the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.
There is also a chance that this game draws the attention of ESPN’s College GameDay, which may decide to make a return trip to Eugene after coming to campus earlier this year for the Ducks’ game against the Indiana Hoosiers.
Oregon has a clear path to the College Football Playoff, so long as they can win the final two games on their schedule. Likewise, if USC can pick up wins over the Ducks and the UCLA Bruins in the next two weeks, they could be in the playoff as well.
High stakes in Eugene, coming in a big, 12:30 p.m. window on a national broadcast.
