Kentucky Volleyball clinches outright SEC regular-season championship with win vs. Arkansas

The Kentucky Wildcats volleyball team completed another perfect conference season with a 3-0 sweep of Arkansas on Sunday, earning the program the outright SEC regular-season championship. It was also Senior Day for Eva Hudson, who never failed to win an SEC title during her time in Lexington and will go down as a UK legend.

The title is the ninth-straight championship for Kentucky volleyball, marking the current longest consecutive championship streak in a Power Four volleyball conference. The Cats entered the day having already clinched at least a share of the championship.

Kentucky concludes its regular season with a 22-2 overall record and a 15-0 SEC mark. The Wildcats will be the No. 1 overall seed in the 2025 SEC Tournament, which begins Friday in Savannah, Georgia. They get a double bye into the quarterfinal round and will play their first match Sunday at 12 PM ET against the No. 8 seed, No. 9 seed, or No. 16 seed, depending on who advances in the first and second rounds. The match will air on the SEC Network.

Here’s to hoping we’re in for another special postseason of Kentucky Wildcats volleyball.
