The Purdue football game was stopped for a handful of minutes as medical personnel and an ambulance was brought out to attend to a Washington receiver.
Raiden Vines-Bright was reportedly moving his legs but laid on the turf after getting twisted awkwardly after a hit, and then hit the turf and laid there. Huskies medical staff motioned for an ambulance and extra attention.
Purdue defensive back Myles Slusher hit Vines-Bright, who gained 10 on the third-and-19 screen pass. Slusher then walked up the Washington sideline and was flagged for a taunting penalty.
FS1 went to multiple commercial breaks and after that stretch, there was an ambulance on the field and Vines-Bright was shown being loaded into the ambulance. He was strapped into the stretcher, wearing a helmet but the helmet had his facemask taken off.
Vines-Bright was reportedly responsive and had movement in his extremities according to a press box announcement, reporters in Seattle said.
