When will Cade Cunningham's signature Nike shoe come out?

Stephen Curry made waves by announcing he would leave Under Armour to become a sneaker free agent. Now, there is more shoe news in the NBA.

A few days later, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, basketball fans learned that Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham is the next player in line to get a signature shoe. According to Charania, the 24-year-old agreed to a six-year endorsement deal to re-sign with Nike.

The only other active NBA players with Nike signature shoes are LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker, and Ja Morant. It seems likely James and Durant will both only have a few more years left playing professional basketball at most, so Cunningham is a smart gamble for Nike.

Excited fans can expect to see Cunningham’s sneakers on the shelves during his 2026-27 campaign.

Per Charania, the sneaker is specifically expected in the “second half” of next season.

Cunningham already has a beautiful logo with Nike and typically worn retro Kobe sneakers and some strong player editions for the GT Cut 3 and GT Cut 3 Turbo.
