Lost in the news of the Tennessee Titans placing Calvin Ridley on injured reserve (IR) with a broken fibula, and the corresponding move of adding James Proche to the 53-man roster, the team quietly lost one of its practice squad members to the Cleveland Browns.
Titans insider Paul Kuharsky reports the Browns are dipping into the Tennessee practice squad to sign cornerback Sam Webb to their 53-man roster.

The Titans signed Webb to the practice squad immediately following the final roster cuts in August when the former undrafted rookie free agent out of Missouri Western was released by the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 6-foot, 194-pound cornerback entered the league in 2022 and bounced between the Raiders and Carolina Panthers before settling back in with Las Vegas in 2024. In all, Webb has played in 28 NFL games with 36 tackles, three passes defensed, and one forced fumble.
Webb had not been elevated by the Titans in 2025 and will now head to Cleveland looking for a chance to rejuvenate his career.
