Five-star forward Brihanna Crittendon committed to Texas over Lady Vols basketball, she announced Nov. 19.
The 6-foot-3 prospect from Thornton, Colorado, is ranked No. 8 in the 2026 class by ESPN and 247Sports Composite. Crittendon held offers from nearly every major program and also took official visits to TCU, Oregon, Washington and Colorado. She took her official visit with the Lady Vols the weekend of Sept. 12-14.
Tennessee has signed two players to its 2026 class. Five-star forward Oliviyah Edwards, who’s ranked No. 2 in the class by ESPN, and four-star wing Gabby Minus both signed with the Lady Vols during the fall signing period. Minus is ranked No. 45, according to 247Sports Composite, which has Edwards at No. 5. The two-player class is ranked No. 7 in the nation by ESPN.
Crittendon would have been a significant addition to Tennessee’s 2026 class. She’s a talented scorer, surpassing 2,000 career points at Riverdale Ridge last season, making her the fastest athlete in Colorado history to reach the career milestone. Crittendon led Riverdale Ridge to the program’s first state title during her sophomore season. Crittendon averaged 26.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.1 blocks as a junior.
