Friday, Nov. 21
Clear Fork 66, Madison 44
The Clear Fork Colts picked up a season-opening win over the Madison Rams on Friday night by a final score of 66-44.
Ava Boccio led the Colts with 20 points including 11 in the third quarter alone while Elaina Pelkey had 15, Brinley Barnett had seven, Asia Bechtel had five, Hailly Thrush and Rozy Stover had four apiece, Jada Brokaw, Quinn Stover and Millie Chamberlin had three apiece and Ashtyn Wine rounded out the scoring with two.
Morgan Cook led the Rams with 16 points while Kaley Bowman and Addison Powell had eight apiece, Maddie Berry had four, Cambree Howe and Avery O’Brien had three apiece and Caliyah Clapper rounded out the scoring with two.
The Colts improve to 1-0 on the year and host Lexington on Nov. 25. Madison falls to 0-1 and hosts Wynford the same night.
Ontario 56, Crestview 41
The Ontario Warriors cruised to a 56-41 season-opening win over Crestview on Friday night in nonconference action.
Rylee Milner led the Warriors with 16 points while Addi Pittman added 12, Carlie Schnittke had 11, Natalie Smith had 11, Elaina Owens scored three and Gracy Miller and Hayden Sexton rounded out the scoring with two apiece.
Shelby Bays led Crestview with 13 points while Bella Grant added 12, Logan Moore and Makenzie Spoerr chipped in with six apiece and Danika Kingman and Taylor Weaver rounded out the scoring with two apiece.
Ontario improves to 1-0 on the year and travels to Upper Sandusky on Nov. 22 while Crestview is 0-1 and travels to Edison on Dec. 1.
Tiffin Columbian 43, Lexington 29
The Lexington Lady Lex took a tough 43-29 loss to Tiffin Columbian on Friday night in the season opener.
Sofia Brown led Lex with 16 points and 14 rebounds while Tatum Stover had five points and eight rebounds, Lauren Risser had three points, Carliann Hughes and Brynley Liersmann had two points apiece and Kylie Murfield rounded out the scoring with one.
Lady Lex falls to 0-1 and travels to Clear Fork on Nov. 25.
South Central 26, Plymouth 23
The Plymouth Big Red took a 26-23 loss to South Central in Firelands Conference action on Friday in a game that was played at Rocket Mortgage Arena in Cleveland.
No stats were submitted for this game.
Plymouth falls to 0-1 and hosts Galion on Nov. 25.
