WATCH: What Rutgers coach Greg Schiano said about Ohio State postgame

Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano knew his team was in for a big challenge this weekend, going against the No. 1 team in the country, Ohio State, and that proved to be true.

The Buckeyes struggled a little bit in the first half with both Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate out of the lineup, but then the running game got going, and OSU seemed to wear down the Scarlet Knights‘ defense. At the end of the day, Ohio State may not have looked its best, but it still won by a dominating 42-9 score.

We always like to check in with what the opposing coach says about Ohio State after going toe-to-toe with them on the field of play, and it was clear that Schiano was impressed with what he saw. If you’d like to catch up with what the former defensive coordinator said about OSU, you can check it all out here.

Schiano looked somewhat defeated but was complimentary of the team Ohio State has, why he felt he needed to be aggressive, and more.

It’s now time for Ohio State to turn the page and get ready to face the big, bad wolf — er, Wolverine. It’s the greatest rivalry in all of sports, and we’re just all glad to be a part of it. We’ll have plenty leading up to The Game on Saturday, so come back and get your fix for Ohio State vs. Michigan after all of your turkey and stuffing this weekend.
