Josh Heupel kicks off Tennessee-Vanderbilt game week

A top 20 matchup will be contested Saturday at Neyland Stadium. No. 18 Tennessee (8-3, 4-3 SEC) will host No. 12 Vanderbilt (9-2, 5-2 SEC) in a regular-season finale. Rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Poll in Week 14.

Kickoff between the Vols and Commodores is slated for 3:30 p.m. EST. ESPN will televise the in-state matchup.

Fifth-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel kicked off game week and previewed the top-20 matchup and senior day.

“Since I won’t see you guys before Thursday, wish you, your families, and all of our fans and their families a happy Thanksgiving,” Heupel said. “Got an opportunity to come back home, finish regular season out here in front of our fans. Honoring a bunch of seniors that have been a huge part of what we’ve done, for some of them, over the last five years. A great group that love being around, so we’ll have a chance to honor them. Opportunity to play a really good football team and get ready to go play.”
