The Indianapolis Colts (8-3) face an important test when they host AFC South foe Houston Texans (6-5) in NFL Week 13 action. The Colts are coming off a dispiriting overtime loss while the Texans have ridden their league-best defense back into playoff contention.
Colts quarterback Daniel Jones (leg) didn’t appear to be 100% by the end of their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and wide receiver/special teams ace Ashton Dulin (hamstring) left the game early.
Houston has won three straight games with backup quarterback Davis Mills at the helm, but C.J. Stroud (concussion) could be in line to return. Here’s a look at both team’s injury issues.
Indianapolis Colts injuries
Daniel Jones, QB
Daniel Jones completed 19-of-31 passes for 181 yards and a pair of first-half touchdowns, and did not get sacked. He also had 3 carries for 16 yards, but he appeared to labor through a 13-yard run in the second half. Jones was on the injury report during the week but there was no thought of keeping him out of the game. He said his leg injury didn’t have an impact on him during the game.
Ashton Dulin, WR/ST
Ashton Dulin, backup receiver and key special teams performer, had one catch for 48 yards that set up a second-quarter touchdown. Dulin also had a 40-yard kickoff return and a tackle. However, he left the game with a hamstring issue.
Jaylon Carlies, LB
Jaylon Carlies (ankle) has not played this season and is in the window to return from injured reserve.
