Quarterback power rankings for the 2025 NFL season heading into Week 13 see plenty of new faces, and that trend will likely continue with some changes potentially sticking around.
That was due to both demotion and injury.
Because of that, this week’s rankings are skewed near the middle, but where is the fun in that? At the top, some previous top-three and top-five QBs have seen their stock drop.
Following another action-packed slate in Week 23, here are the latest NFL quarterback power rankings.
32. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
Last week: 30.
While not the worst stat line for Shough, Saints lost to a Falcons team the lost five-straight games… by two touchdowns.
31. Tyrod Taylor, New York Jets
Last week: N/A.
Taylor took over for Fields and looked better on the eye. The Jets offense still only managed to score one touchdown in a loss to the Ravens.
30. Mason Rudolph, Pittsburgh Steelers
Last week: N/A.
Rudolph threw and interception on his first pass while subbing in against the Bears for Aaron Rodgers. He never really went on to do anything spectacular in a 31-28 loss.
29. Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns
Last week: N/A.
Sanders won his debut, albeit against a Raiders team that is firing people left and right. Sanders was 11-for-20 passing with 209 yards, touchdown and interception.
28. J.J. McCarthy, Minnesota Vikings
Last week: 24.
McCarthy is going the wrong way completely now, leading to his fall after a 23-6 loss to the Packers.
27. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans
Last week: 31.
Ward put together a performance of 256 yards and two touchdowns despite a 30-24 loss to the Seahawks. Progress for the rookie.
26. Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Last week: 22.
A lot of throwing done by Smith once again… with no win to show for it. He was 30-for-44 passing in a 24-10 loss. Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly has been sacked.
25. Marcus Mariota, Washington Commanders
Last week: 27.
Week 12 bye.
24. Jameis Winston, New York Giants
Last week: 28.
A loss to the the Lions, but Winston had one of his classic games filled with yardage… 379 total yards worth.
23. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Last week: 26.
After his ridiculous game last week, Young did not put up similar numbers against the 49ers. He still kept his team within reach early in the second half.
22. Kirk Cousins, Atlanta Falcons
Last week: N/A.
In desperate need of something to stop the bleeding, was Cousins the answer? Well, his two touchdowns helped, but facing the Saints helps anyone win.
21. Davis Mills, Houston Texans
Last week: 23.
Don’t look now, Mills has three-straight wins for the Texans after upsetting the Bills… but this one had a lot to do with his team’s defense.
20. Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins
Last week: 21.
Week 12 bye.
19. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
Last week: 20.
An overtime loss for the Cardinals to the Jaguars, 27-24. Brissett continued to show he’s the better option for Arizona with 317 passing yards.
18. Joe Flacco, Cincinnati Bengals
Last week: 19.
The Bengals held tough in a 26-20 loss to the Patriots. It was not on Flacco that his team allowed a 10-point comeback as the Bengals should have done much better with the Patriots’ offensive line issues.
17. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
Last week: 18.
Luckily for Purdy, we have new QBs in this list at the bottom. His three interceptions early were near disaster… but to Purdy’s credit, he did turn it around.
16. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Last week: 16.
A win in the NFC North against the Vikings, but Love did not overly impress. He had 139 passing yards and did not score.
15. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Last week: 17.
A mixed bag from Lawrence in the most-trust way possible. Three touchdowns and three interceptions.
14. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
Last week: 14.
Williams keeps his standing as a top-half quarterback right now after his effort in beating the Steelers. He threw three more touchdown passes.
13. Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
Last week: 13.
A sorely needed bounce-back performance after four interceptions a week ago for Darnold. He had 244 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Titans.
12. Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Last week: 12.
Week 12 bye.
11. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Last week: 11.
Woof. The Eagles started well and Hurts had all three touchdowns. Up 21-0, they still lost to their rival in the Cowboys in a 24-21 final.
10. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
Last week: 10.
Questions are being asked of Jones again. He did have two touchdown passes in a down game for running back Jonathan Taylor in an overtime loss to the Chiefs.
9. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last week: 5.
The Bucs went and had another tough outing against the Rams… but Mayfield’s stock is mostly dropping because of his health.
8. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers
Last week: 7.
Week 12 bye.
7. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Last week: 6.
While the Ravens did beat the Jets, 23-10, their offense was shut down for most of the game. Jackson seems to still be dealing with a hamstring injury.
6. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Last week:8.
A comeback that could be remembered if the Cowboys make a run. Prescott helped turn a 21-0 score line into a 24-21 win with three touchdowns.
5. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Last week: 7.
Still no 300-yard games for Maye. It is still time for him to be top five.
4. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Last week: 2.
Allen and his offensive line were no match for the Texans’ defensive front. He was sacked a career-high eight times and could not get
3. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
Last week: 4.
Goff and running back Jahmyr Gibbs led a turnaround for the Lions against the the Giants which finished in a 34-27 overtime win.
2. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
Last week: 3.
Mahomes carried the load with 352 yards against the Colts in what ended as a 23-20 overtime win. He did not have a touchdown, but that’s a lot of work.
1. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Last week: 1.
Stafford remains the easy choice at No. 1.
