Nebraska to host class of 2027 four-star forward Donovan Davis

Nebraska basketball is set to host a big-time recruiting target as 2027 four-star forward Donovan Davis will visit the program on December 7 for the Creighton game.

Davis is the 75th overall player in the 2027 class, the 15th overall power forward, and the second overall player in his class from the state of Wisconsin, per the Rivals Industry rankings. He has visited several programs already this calendar year, including Nebraska. He has also visited Iowa, Iowa State, and Wisconsin. His last visit was to the Hawkeyes on November 7.

He is efficient with the basketball. In his sophomore year, he scored 22.7 points, averaging 12 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.8 steals per game. He shot 65.7% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range. He also played on the club circuit in the spring. He averaged 13.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game during that time.

Davis has tremendous size at six-foot-seven, 200 pounds.

He would bring elite scoring to Nebraska and would fit Fred Hoiberg’s offense in a meaningful way. Hopefully, the program can make a strong impression on his visit.
