Portugal crowned U17 World Cup champions
Portugal clinched their first ever U17 World Cup title by defeating Austria 1-0 in the final in Qatar on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The decisive goal was scored by Anísio Cabral in the 32nd minute after a brilliant combination down the left flank. In the second half, Austria ramped up the pressure, but Portugal stood firm defensively and managed their lead with maturity and tactical discipline.
