Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Cole Palmer is available to play against Arsenal on Sunday.
Palmer has been out of action for the Blues since September due to a groin injury.
He was expected to return ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League win against Barcelona in midweek, but his comeback was delayed after he broke his toe.
Now Maresca has confirmed the England international is ready to start against Arsenal this weekend, per Sky Sports.
Palmer has been a key player for Chelsea since joining them from Manchester City in 2023.
He has scored 45 goals and created 29 assists in 101 appearances across all competitions.
Last season, the 23-year-old featured in 52 total matches, with 32 direct goal contributions to his name.
However, it must be said that Chelsea have been doing well without their talismanic attacking midfielder.
The West Londoners have won five of their six Premier League matches, and are currently sitting second in the table.
They also moved to seventh in the Champions League standings with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Barcelona on Tuesday.
Maresca’s men face a tough challenge against Arsenal this Sunday.
They will be playing in front of their supporters at Stamford Bridge, but the Gunners have been near impeccable this season.
Mikel Areta’s side have lost only once this term in all competitions, and that came at Liverpool in August.
