The season hasn’t gone brilliantly for Duke women so far. The Blue Devils have lost to Baylor, West Virginia, South Florida, South Carolina Wednesday night by 17 and now to UCLA on Thanksgiving, 89-59.
Ashlon Jackson finished with 18 and Toby Fournier had 17 points and 1o rebounds.
Duke shot just 27,3% on threes and 33.8% overall.
The Bruins nearly doubled Duke’s percentages, hitting 59.1% on their threes and 52.5% overall.
To make it even worse, star Lauren Betts was out for this one.
It’s been a bad start for the Blue Devils. Just 3-5, Duke will now take on LSU in the ACC/SEC Challenge. That game will be in Cameron on December 4th, but LSU is a very tough team as well.
