For the first time in more than four decades, the San Francisco 49ers won a road game at the Cleveland Browns. The 49ers improved to 9-4 with their 26-8 win over the Browns on Sunday from Huntington Bank Field to stay on the right side of the current NFC playoffs picture.
On a frosty day in Cleveland, the 49ers found just enough offense and plenty of defense to pave the way to victory ahead of San Francisco’s bye in Week 14.
Here’s a look back at the 49ers’ top performers against the Browns:

An offseason trade acquisition, Skyy Moore is morphing into an impactful special teams player for San Francisco. Moore had a massive 66-yard punt return which set up the game’s opening score. 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey punched in that ensuing possession with a 1-yard rushing touchdown.

A midseason addition to the 49ers’ practice squad, San Francisco defensive end Clelin Ferrell has been on a tear since being signed to the active roster. Ferrell racked up a team- and career-high nine tackles and a pair of sacks.

Cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. was Johnny-on-the-spot as Cleveland’s Gage Larvadain muffed a fourth-quarter punt. That set the 49ers up on the doorstep to help pull away.
Jauan Jennings

Jauan Jennings caught Brock Purdy’s 7-yard touchdown pass to put the game out of reach following Luter’s recovered fumble. It’s the fifth touchdown grab of the season for Jennings and the 18th of his career. It’s also now the second time this season that Jennings has had back-to-back games with at least one touchdown reception.

Bunching these two 49ers stars together. San Francisco tight end George Kittle and 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey are on this list essentially every week.
While it certainly wasn’t a banner day in terms of production per touch for McCaffrey, he did find pay dirt once. With his 1-yard rushing score, McCaffrey now has eight rushing touchdowns this season and 60 in his career.
Meanwhile, Kittle finished with a team-high 67 receiving yards on four grabs, including his 33-yard beauty that set up Gay’s field goal to close the first half and give the 49ers a lead at the break.

Matt Gay had another perfect day in place of the injured Eddy Piñeiro. Gay booted through field goal tries of 25 and 31 yards and made both of his PAT tries.
Doinks that split the uprights still count the same.
