The Cleveland Browns have officially clinched a losing record after dropping Sunday’s game to the 49ers, 26-8.
The Browns kept the first half close, but were shut out after halftime as San Francisco piled up points to pull away. Cleveland has plenty of questions to answer. The team has five games left to figure out what they’ve got in Shedeur Sanders, and they’re just a few weeks away from needing to make a decision on the futures of the coaching staff and the front office.
Let’s take a look at how Browns fans are reacting to Sunday’s loss.
Shedeur Sanders and the offense
Cleveland’s offense cooled off after halftime, despite racking up decent yards in the first half against San Francisco. Sanders finished the second start of his NFL career with 16 completions on 25 attempts for 149 yards and a passing touchdown. Cleveland picked up 138 yards on 31 attempts on the ground.
Shedeur Sanders in his 2nd NFL start:
• 16/25 (64%)
• 149 yards
• 1 TDFair to say it was a very average at best performance but he made some great decisions especially early in the game.

The spark that Shedeur Sanders gives this Browns team is clearly obvious! I really like what ive seen so far with a small sample size! #DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/iattX80FvI

For the first time in what feels like forever… today was definitely not on the QB. #DawgPound

Sanders is definitely not the issue with the Browns. The QB is not the issue today.
Think about that. #DawgPound

This was Shedeur Sanders’ fourth completion of 30+ yards this season.

Shedeur has looked like a good NFL QB all half. If you don’t see it, not sure what to tell you.

Shedeur’s a good qb but ppl will continue to say he’s bad bc he’s on the BROWNS and has no help

Myles Garrett and the defense
Garrett added another sack to his season total on Sunday. He’s now sitting at 19 through 12 games this season, and needs just four over the Browns’ remaining five games to take sole possession of the NFL’s single-season sack record. Despite being outscored 16-0 in the second half, the Browns allowed the 49ers to gain just 252 yards and 3.9 yards per play over the course of Sunday’s game.

The coaching
The Browns are now 6-23 since the start of last season, and a consistent theme with this season has been fans’ continuing dissatisfaction with Cleveland’s coaching staff. After a dismal showing against the 49ers, that angst persists.
Fire Stefanski at the end of the season
Dump Bubba Ventrone in Lake Erie by the end of the day. I’m done.
At least Shedeur did alright, Defense struggled but did what they could. #DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/eMoTXVy9CS— finch (@_FlNCH_) November 30, 2025
I don’t know many things… but I do know one thing… the Browns will forever be a looney tunes franchise that we for some reason watch weekly knowing the result will be disappointing. I’m ready for several coaching changes this off season #DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/u5mMHcn1BJ

The @Browns will NEVER win with Stefanski. They can try 100 other QBs, but the outcome will be exactly the same. We need another WR, but there is enough to win. The defense is elite. His process is too slow. These rookies have outgrown it. The body language is clear. #DawgPound

Kevin is a Nice Guy & may be able to draw up Offensive Plays, but he is not a Head Coach in the #NFL!!! I’m sorry. He can’t lead his team out of “The Suck!” #DawgPoundpic.twitter.com/CWTf5QX8u4

It goes from 10-8 to a blowout because of a pathetic coaching staff and the worst coached team in all of sports. Guy literally coaches against his own team every week. #DawgPound

Bubba Ventrone’s key card in Berea better deny him entry at this point. #DawgPound

4th & 1 and Kevin sends Harold Fannin under center to take the snap and they fumble it.
Stefanski always needs to be the smartest guy in the room. Perhaps the backup tight end isn’t the best guy to handle the snap exchange in important situations. pic.twitter.com/rXYCyFFvZk
