The Chicago Bears continue to set records and surpass franchise marks during their 9-3 start to the 2025 season, under first-year head coach Ben Johnson.
Last week, Chicago got their biggest signature win of the season, defeating the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on the road, and doing so with a smash-mouth rushing attack and a defense that forced two turnovers.
Not only was the win over Philadelphia the biggest stamp on their season so far, but it was the first time in over 30 years in which Chicago accomplished such a feat. Their Week 13 victory was the first time since 1988 that the Bears defeated a defending Super Bowl championship team on the road, when they defeated the Washington Redskins, 34-14, coached by Mike Ditka.

Johnson’s impact on this franchise has been noticeable from the very beginning, and now the results are showing up on the field — winning nine of their last 10 games — and they’re making history along the way.
Chicago will have to earn their spot in the postseason, despite the fact that they currently hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC, as they have the second toughest strength of schedule for the back end of this season with games against the Green Bay Packers (x2), Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions.
