Michigan football had its opportunity to make the College Football Playoff had it beaten Ohio State this past weekend; however, the No. 1 Buckeyes dominated the Wolverines, 27-9, in a score that could have been much worse.
The maize and blue entered the contest ranked No. 15, and with postseason bowl games on the line, it’s key where the Wolverines rank in the penultimate CFP rankings.
Michigan ended up coming in at No. 19 and is thought to be slotted in to face No. 13 Texas in the Citrus Bowl.
