Newcastle: Good news for Yoane Wissa
Yoane Wissa is set to make his Newcastle debut soon, more than three months after his arrival. The DR Congo striker suffered a knee injury just after his transfer, which delayed his integration into the squad.
Wissa has already featured in a behind-closed-doors match and could return to the squad very soon: either against Burnley, in the Champions League clash with Leverkusen, or perhaps even in the derby against Sunderland. Since he wasn’t selected for AFCON, the Congolese forward can now focus 100% on his club and look to make his mark.
Yoane Wissa will miss AFCON with DR Congo and is aiming to make his Newcastle debut sooner than expected.
