The wait for Chris Henry Jr. to officially sign with a college football team continues. National Signing Day 2025 came on Wednesday and the son of the late Chris Henry and adopted son of Pacman Jones announced that he needed more time to “weigh [his] options due to coaching changes” at Ohio State.
Since then, there have been rumblings and predictions about his next destination. Will the Buckeyes ultimately win out anyway or will Oregon swoop in?
As Ducks Wire noted, experts have started predicting that he’d flip and go to Oregon instead of Ohio State.

There’s also this report from Rivals that Ohio State coach Ryan Day called Henry to point out the number of receivers who have emerged from the university to be first-rounders in the NFL (and how many have come out of Oregon).
Ryan Day called five-star Chris Henry Jr. last night, per Rivals, to remind him that Ohio State has had nine receivers selected in the first round of the NFL Draft, and it was a collective effort to do so.

We’ll see if that helped Ohio State’s case or if the Brian Hartline departure truly changed Henry Jr.’s mind.
