Friday Seacoast Roundup: York boys open in convincing fashion, more

NAPLES, Maine – The York High School boys basketball team opened its season with a 70-39 Class B South win on Friday, Dec. 5 at Lake Region.

Junior Coen Camire led York with 14 points, while seniors Reece MacDonald had 13 and Robbie Hanscom had 12.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – Cooper Simms’ 16 points led Marshwood to this season-opening win. Nick Ansara added 14 points for the Hawks, while Brevan Lavin had 13.

WATERBORO, Maine – Isabelle Tice’s game-high 22 points led Marshwood to a season-opening win. Tice added five assists.

Renee St Pierre had 12 points for the Hawks, while Jolie Folger had nine points and nine rebounds.

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Shane Cullity scored the lone Marshwood goal with 2:20 left in this Class A game at Biddeford Ice Arena.
