Last Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills was embarrassing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and now we can add insult to injury after the loss. On Saturday, the NFL fined Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward $11,593 for a taunt of Bills quarterback Josh Allen last week.
The entire exchange was pretty benign, but the officials saw fit to flag Heyward on the play, in addition to the fine the league levied against him. Allen and the Bills’ offense ran roughshod over the Steelers’ defense, and you saw the frustration coming out from players like Heyward for much of the second half.

Heyward is in the midst of one of his worst NFL seasons. The same can be said for much of the Steelers defense. The team is currently 6-6 and the most expensive defense in the league is giving up huge chunks of yards every single game.
