It has been a brutal season for the New Orleans Saints as they already look ahead to the 2026 NFL draft, but one of the few bright spots has been rookie quarterback Tyler Shough.
He continued to deliver in Sunday’s road contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, taking it in himself on what was no small effort. While Shough is primarily known for his efforts as a pure passer and success through the air, he’s shown the ability to use his legs when he needs to.
And the hope he has instilled within a team that has not truly found what it has needed at signal-caller since the legendary Drew Brees retired, the potential he brings has been a breath of fresh air.
