The very handsome Marcus Freeman will be one of the hottest names on the NFL head coaching market after Black Monday, but it seems like the buzz is heating up now.
There are a lot of questions about whether he’s the main target of the New York Giants or not, and you may be wondering: Where is all of that coming from?
First off, we’ve seen a jump on Kalshi for the Giants being the favorites, which doesn’t mean a ton. But with Notre Dame declining a bowl invite recently, there’s also Freeman not exactly saying no in a recent interview when asked about it (see below).
Then there’s also North Jersey’s Art Stapleton posting on X (formerly Twitter) that Freeman could now have time to prepare for his interview with his Giants and that the franchise could find a lot of money “for the buyout.”
With that said, Marcus Freeman didn’t shut down the idea coaching the Giants 👀 pic.twitter.com/gCailx9YxU

Marcus Freeman now being the favorite to take the Giants job at Kalshi is not what I need after today. pic.twitter.com/C5zeW3yYSa

Does “where there’s smoke there’s fire” apply here? Hard to say. But that’s where all of this is coming from. Stay tuned if it all heats up more.
