One Chelsea player bought some new boots inspired by footballing legend Ronaldinho, but was unable to test them out.

I believe that there would have been a couple of very frustrated Brazilians watching on when Chelsea lost 2-1 against Atalanta on Tuesday night.

When his side needed a goal, Maresca at one point had Malo Gusto, Reece James, and Marc Cucurella playing in centre midfield when in possession. Three natural full backs playing in centre midfield. Andrey Santos was sat on the bench and was not used.

They also needed a goal, and when Cole Palmer is not there, Estevao Willian is surely your best and most creative option and source of a goal or an assist. He can make something happen from nothing.

But much to his annoyance, Estevao was also left sat on the bench all game and not used. Odd.

It’s pretty clear that our young rising star expected to get some minutes in that game, as he should have had. He had new boots ready and everything!

Really, after not playing at all and now being fully fresh for the weekend, Estevao absolutely must be starting against Everton at the weekend. We are certainly going to need him.
