Patriots starter misses practice with injury ahead of Bills game

New England Patriots linebacker Harold Landry III was a new name that popped up as absent on Thursday’s injury report with a knee injury.

He joined running back Terrell Jennings, who is dealing with a concussion, as the only two non-participants at practice. It’s a key injury to monitor ahead of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots will need all of the help they can get on the edge if they have any hopes of slowing down Bills’ star quarterback Josh Allen.

Landry has recorded 46 tackles this season, to go along with 7.5 sacks on the year. His veteran leadership and contributions on the field have been a huge addition to the Patriots’ defense. They can’t afford to lose those contributions ahead of the biggest game of the season.

The final injury report for the game will be released on Friday, which should provide a clearer understanding of Landry’s status. He was a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice before being out completely on Thursday.

All eyes will be on the next report.
