It’s officially Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight week! One of the most unique fights in the sport pits a YouTuber-turned-boxer against a former multi-time heavyweight champion.

Paul will showcase his skills at the open workouts at LIV Nightclub. Will he troll everyone, or show he’s taking Joshua seriously? Also at the open workouts will be Joshua, Alycia Baumgardner, Anderson Silva, and Cherneka Johnson.

Outside regular workouts, the likes of Shannon Courtenay, Nat Dove, and Luan Medeiros will be in action, acting as the appetizer before the main show.

Shannon Courtenay punishes Jessica Maltez in MVP debut

Round six: Counter shots connected from Courtenay. Maltez tried to land flurries, but Courtenay was having none of it. She snapped Maltez’s head back with sharp shots to the head. Courtenay would win via unanimous decision (60-54, 60-54, 58-56).

Round five: Courtenay with body shots and some across the face of her opponent. She jabbed away. Maltez is surviving at this point.

Round two: Maltez tried to jab away at Courtenay. Courtenay’s power is something. Courtenay landed hooks. She continued to press forward after starting the round slow.

Round one: Courtenay with a sharp jab and hook to start things off. She landed a counter shot, acting as the aggressor. Courtenay continued to push forward. It was a one-sided beatdown in round one.

The open workouts will take place at LIV at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The start time is 6 p.m. ET. 

Anthony Joshua should arrive around 8:50 p.m. ET, while Jake Paul should arrive around 9:10 p.m. ET. 

MVP Showcase 2 highlights

7:34 p.m. ET: Following six sharp rounds, Courtenay was dominant against Maltez in her Most Valuable Promotions debut. “I’ve landed in America, MVP style.” She’s ready to become a world champion again.  

7:10 p.m. ET: The first fight of the Showcase event is underway: Shannon Courtenay vs. Jessica Maltez. 

6:58 p.m. ET: Leila Beaudoin challenges Alycia Baumgardner for the unified super featherweight titles. She walked down to the ring with confidence, while everyone else is scrambling over the Crawford news 

6:40 p.m. ET: Harvey is more of a football fan than a boxing one. He likes the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Vasiliy Lomachenko. 

6:35 p.m. ET: In shocking news, Terence Crawford just announced his retirement from boxing. A great leaves his gloves in the ring. Now, the real question is simple: Is this a Tyson Fury “retirement” where he comes back for more money, or a shoot one? 

6:30 p.m. ET: Jahmal Harvey, who faces Kevin Cervantes, is next. The 23-year-old World Championships gold medalist from Marland is ready to put on a show in Miami. 

6:15 p.m. ET: WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois is all smiles as she makes her MVP debut this weekend. She’s ranked 5th on Sporting News’ latest 25 Under 25. 

6:08 p.m. ET: Cherneka Johnson, the undisputed bantamweight champion, is here. Wearing blue, she looks sharp as she defends gold on Friday night. 

6 p.m. ET: LIV is packed, and not for a clubbing experience. This is something special.
