New MSU co-DC, LBs coach Max Bullough spotted at Spartans hoops game

One of the most noteworthy assistant coaches on the Spartans football staff attend the Michigan State basketball game on Tuesday night.

New Michigan State co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Max Bullough attended the Spartans’ home basketball game against Toledo on Tuesday night. Bullough was spotted at the game with new Michigan State head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

Here’s a picture of Bullough before the game tipped off — courtesy of Emmett Matasovsky of Spartan Shadows:

Bullough was hired by the Spartans last week, which was a massive win for Fitzgerald and Michigan State. Bullough — who of course starred for the Spartans during his playing days — is considered a rising star in the coaching world and made a name for himself at Notre Dame. Michigan State getting him to leave Notre Dame to return to the Spartans football program is huge.

It’s great to see Bullough back in the green-and-white and I’m sure we will be seeing more of him around campus as he settles into his new gig with the Spartans.
