Anthony Richardson injury: Latest practice status update on Colts' QB

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson will return to the practice field on Wednesday, said head coach Shane Steichen.

Richardson’s designation to return from injured reserve opens a 21-day practice window for him to be added back to the 53-man roster.

According to Joel Erickson of the Indy Star, Steichen did say that Richardson still has some limitations in his eye.

The orbital fracture that Richardson has been working through occurred on Oct. 12th. It happened during warmups prior to the Arizona game, when a pole that was attached to a stretch band snapped and impacted Richardson around his eye.

Prior to his return to the practice field, Richardson has been back with the team and ramping up the physical activity aspect of his return.
