The NFL and the Los Angeles Rams have now released statements following Puka Nacua’s actions on a livestream with Adin Ross and N3on. During the stream, Nacua followed the instructions of Ross on doing an antisemitic gesture, which he then promised to perform as a touchdown celebration if he scores.
Nacua issued an apology and said he had “no idea this act was antisemitic in nature,” later learning of its derogatory meaning toward Jewish people. In response to Nacua’s actions and apology, the NFL says “hatred has no place in our sport or society,” while also strongly condemning “all forms of discrimination and derogatory behavior.”

The Rams released a statement of their own, saying there is “no place in this world for antisemitism” or any other forms of “prejudice or hostility towards the Jewish people and people of any religion, ethnicity, or race.”

Nacua and the Rams take on the Seahawks Thursday night in Seattle, the first game of Week 16.
