The Chargers defeated the Cowboys by the score of 34-17. En route to victory, there were a handful of players who contributed to the win.
Here are six standouts from Sunday afternoon.
QB Justin Herbert
After an uneven performance against the Chiefs, Herbert took advantage of an underwhelming Cowboys defense. Herbert completed a season-high 79% of his passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns, along with a rushing touchdown.
RB Omarion Hampton
Only two games removed from returning from injury, Hampton seems to be back to his usual self. As the primary ball carrier, out-rushing Kimani Vidal 16 to 5, Hampton turned his carries into 86 yards and a touchdown with an average of 5.3 yards per carry. Hampton toted the rock with physicality and broke through multiple attempted tackles.
WR Quentin Johnston
Johnston was back in his home state of Texas, and he made sure to put on a show for his friends and family in attendance. The former TCU product had a big game with four catches for 104 yards, including an impressive one-handed 23-yard touchdown grab.
WR Tre Harris
Harris has been steadily getting more involved as a pass catcher. The rookie out of Ole Miss set a new career high with 54 receiving yards on four catches. While most of his production came in the first half, Harris helped the Chargers build their lead.
EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu
It’s time for the Chargers to open up the checkbook for Tuipulotu. The third-year player was sensational off the edge yet again. He led the team in pressures (5), hurries (3), and notched his 13th sack of the season, which is the tied for the third-most in the league behind Myles Garrett and Brian Burns.
