The Atlanta Falcons’ 26-19 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday was their first ever win at State Farm Stadium. It was also the first time the Falcons have won back-to-back games since defeating the Washington Commanders and Buffalo Bills earlier in the season.
Atlanta overcame a 10-point deficit in the first quarter and nearly squandered a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter, but the defense got a stop in the final two minutes to end the Cardinals’ comeback attempt. The Falcons improved to 4-5 on the road and 6-9 overall following Sunday’s win in Arizona.
Before we look ahead to the team’s final two games of the 2025 NFL season, let’s check out the studs and duds from Week 16.
Stud: HB Bijan Robinson
No other Falcons player has ever amassed 2,000 total yards. Against the Cardinals, Bijan has done just that while adding 76 yards as a runner and 92 as a receiver in Sunday’s victory. Robinson continues to do whatever is needed of him each and every week. For the year, he has 1,250 rushing yards and 776 receiving yards.
Stud: TE Kyle Pitts
The Falcons tight end is once again showing why he needs to be a part of the franchise beyond 2025. Kyle Pitts ended the night with seven receptions for 57 yards and one touchdown. With few other pass-catchers stepping up in recent weeks, Pitts has had no trouble carrying the load. He was in a similar situation during his 1,000-yard rookie season.
Stud: CB C.J. Henderson
The Falcons signed Henderson earlier in the week after cutting kick returner Jamal Agnew. Henderson ended the game with a spectacular interception of Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Arizona had the ball with a chance to tie or potentially win the game in the final seconds, but Henderson stepped up and gave the team an early Christmas gift.
Dud: WR Drake London
The receiver made his return after missing the last four weeks due to a knee injury. However, he didn’t make much of an impact against the Cardinals. London only managed to bring in three of eight targets for 27 receiving yards. We expected to see some rust, but London didn’t look totally healthy.
