The most comprehensive dataset of termite genomes to date was created by an international team of scientists, led by researchers from the Biology Center of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The team sequenced 45 termite genomes and two cockroach genomes, increasing the total number of high-quality termite genomes roughly sixfold.
