INEOS may be struggling to strengthen the Manchester United first team’s midfield, but they have been unrelenting when it comes to academy recruitment.
They have already agreed a pre-contract with Colombian wonderkid Cristian Orozco, who will join the club next summer, after he turns 18.
United pulled out all the stops to land the “new Moises Caicedo”, including taking him on a special tour of the club’s facilities at Carrington.
And the Colombia U17 international was clearly impressed, and he revealed his delight at signing for the Red Devils in a recent interview.

Speaking to FullDeportes Caribe this week (via The Daily Mail), he explained, “It was amazing and I am really happy.”
His trip to Manchester included a visit to Old Trafford, as well as training sessions with the U18s and U21s.
And he also revealed that the Carrington wonderkids treated him with a lot of respect and love, which as he explained will help him adapt to his new surroundings even quicker come next season.
“I got to train with the Under 18s and Under 21s for a few days and I was really happy because they treated me really well.

“Hopefully when I arrive it will be easier because I will know them.”
Interestingly, as previously relayed by The Peoples Person, United seem to have grand plans for Cristian Orozco.
They are not planning to loan him out once he arrives, instead Ruben Amorim is planning to give him the chance to impress in pre-season next summer.
He is not the only young midfielder on the club’s radar. Senegal’s U17 skipper Mouhamed Dabo was also brought in for a trial.
He did impress, but his transfer has proven to be a roller-coaster, which seems to have had an adverse effect on United’s intentions of signing him.
