It’s now official. Long-time Michigan State football offensive guard Gavin Broscious is officially in the NCAA transfer portal. The move was made official a few weeks after it was originally reported by ESPN that his agency told the popular sports outlet that he intended to make this move.
Given the time lag between the initial report and the official move into the portal, it can be inferred that Broscious may have wanted to talk to Pat Fitzgerald, his new staff, and may have also been waiting to see who MSU hired as their new offensive line coach. Broscious made the move official less than two hours before it was revealed that Nick Tabacca will be taking over that role for the Spartans.
Broscious joined the Spartans in 2022 and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He played in all 12 games last season for Michigan State.
