Over the last couple of months, PSG have been linked to Newcastle United standout Sandro Tonali. Nonetheless, no serious move has materialized so far, but rumors of the Parisians’ interest in the Italian emerge every few months.

According to a previous report from Fichajes, PSG could already have their sights set on Tonali as they aim to strengthen their midfield and build on a historic campaign from last season.

Moreover, this update follows a report from TuttoJuve claiming that both Juventus and PSG are preparing bids for Tonali. According to the outlet, the French side remain intent on pursuing the midfielder and are unwilling to step aside, even as Juventus push to land him.

Despite interest from clubs, Newcastle have no interest in selling the midfielder. Nonetheless, there’s only one scenario in which the player could ever leave the Magpies.

Tonali is Juventus’ dream signing, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, although it would take a transfer request from the 25-year-old and a suitable offer for the Magpies to let him leave.

The Bianconeri could aim for an initial loan with an obligation to sign permanently, contingent on them qualifying for the Champions League. They could also look to include striker Jonathan David in a deal if Newcastle are open to that possibility.

Amidst reports concerning Tonali’s future, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio shared his assessment of what the player wants to do, but whether that will be the outcome remains to be seen.

“In his heart, Sandro Tonali still dreams of returning to AC Milan,” Di Marzio said. “He left against his will. It was a decision made by the club, and he didn’t feel he could say no when Newcastle’s offer arrived. He doesn’t want to return to Italy, he wants to return to Milan.”
