Former Wisconsin safety Justin Taylor plans to reenter the transfer portal, according to 247Sports’ Allen Trieu.
Taylor played two seasons with the Badgers after joining the program as a three-star recruit in the class of 2023. He appeared in two games during that time, both as a redshirt freshman in 2024. He then entered the portal after the 2024 campaign, eventually committing to Wyoming.
The La Grange Park, Illinois, native appeared in nine games with the Cowboys in 2025, totaling 19 tackles, 1 1/2 for loss, two pass deflections and one interception. He is set to reenter the portal with two years of eligibility remaining.
Taylor is set to join a growing list of former Badgers who plan to reenter the portal after one year at a different program, joining cornerback Jonas Duclona and quarterbacks Braedyn Locke and Mabrey Mettauer.
