The Cleveland Browns have reportedly had discussions with two former NFL general managers about some sort of role in their front office.
That role has yet to be disclosed, but according to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Browns have spoken to fired general managers Chris Grier and Tom Telesco about a role within the organization. It is unclear if this is for the role vacated by Paul DePodesta, who was hired back into baseball by the Colorado Rockies, or just an advisory position.
Grier, who was the long-time general manager of the Miami Dolphins, was fired at the end of October as the Dolphins opened the season as massive disappointments. Telesco was the general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers, but was fired in 2023. He was then hired by the Las Vegas Raiders, but was fired after just one season there.
We have one more football game left to be played in Cleveland before we really start to see the fallout from back-to-back losing seasons.
