The Los Angeles Clippers had been playing their best basketball of the 2025-26 season before squaring off with the Boston Celtics on Saturday night. Unfortunately for the Clips, Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been playing the best basketball of his entire career.
The four-time All-Star recorded a whopping 50 points at Intuit Dome, tying a career-high and making a once close game an absolute beatdown. Brown only needed 35 minutes to reach his impressive total, and if he wasn’t subbed out with 3:44 to go in the fourth quarter, he surely would’ve set a new career-high.
Jaylen Brown in a win over the Clippers:
– 50 points (ties career-high) in 35 min.
– 69% from the floor (18-26 FG)
– 60% from deep
– 5 assists

But, at that point, Brown had already helped the C’s clinch the 146-115 victory. Boston’s final tally ties its highest scoring output of the season and its 24 makes from beyond the arc also ties a season-high.
Prior to the Celtics’ dominant showing, the Clippers had won six games in a row. Boston snapped that streak and extended its own, as the C’s have now earned three straight wins and are 21-12 overall.
Let’s take a look at some of the best flicks from the Celtics’ impressive rout of the Clippers.
