Metcalf was suspended two games following his physical altercation with a Detroit Lions fan, later revealed to be Ryan Kennedy, back in Week 16.
Acquired in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks last March, Metcalf had a solid debut season with Pittsburgh, catching 59 passes for 850 yards and recording seven total touchdowns in 15 games.
Luckily, the Steelers were able to pull off a Week 18 win over the Baltimore Ravens, earning a spot in the playoffs and opening the door for Metcalf’s return next Monday, as the Texans travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers on January 12 at 8:15 p.m. EST.
