Bayern Munich is ready to get back into business for the resumption of the 2025/26 season. So far, the team has done remarkably well, failing to win only three games in all competitions. Thomas Müller, former Bayern player and club legend, gave his thoughts on how his boyhood club has fared up until this point.
“Bayern have played a great first half of the season,” Müller said (via Bild as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “They’re not only playing spectacular football, but also working hard, fighting and showing desire. You can feel the togetherness, they came back to win many games after going behind. It’s fun to watch them play. I tried to watch as many games as I could.”
The 36-year-old also predicted that the Bavarians would reach the final of the Champions League. The setup that Vincent Kompany has at Bayern is about as efficient as it can get, only needing minor adjustments to completely eradicate soft spots.
