For the first time since 2020, the Bills will be on the road to start their postseason.
Buffalo showed flashes of brilliance during the 2025 regular season, going 12-5 as Josh Allen and James Cook III erupted for fireworks once more. Allen briefly garnered MVP buzz, while Cook led the league in rushing one season after finishing as the sport’s most prolific touchdown scorer.
And yet, that wasn’t enough for the Bills to collect an AFC East title. The Patriots outgunned Buffalo in the end, to take home the divisional crown for the first time since the Tom Brady-led Pats accomplished the feat in 2019.
So, just what lies ahead for the Bills in the wild-card round? Here’s what you need to know.
