The Women’s Super League 2 match between Newcastle United and Birmingham City on Sunday has been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

A pitch inspection on Saturday morning ruled the pitch at Gateshead International Stadium unplayable.

Birmingham are second in WSL2 – five points behind Charlton – and Newcastle fourth.

A new date for the game has not been set.
