Anyone watching Bayern Munich’s 8-1 destruction of VfL Wolfsburg could see the the Wolves gradually losing a grip on the game.
As Bayern Munich’s attack took over the match, VfL Wolfsburg just could not keep up. Colombian star Luis Díaz was credited with one goal and two assists, Michael Olise had two goals and one assist, and Harry Kane had a goal and an assist to lead the way on what would be the worst all-time defeat for the Wolves:

Bayern Munich was simply dominant in the match and Wolfsburg, despite a strong start, could not keep up. The Wolves killed themselves with two own goals and seemed completely distraught by the end of the match.
For the Bavarians, it was another dominant showing in the Bundesliga and yet another message to the rest of the league — be wary of Bayern Munich’s attack or it will run you off the pitch.
