The New York Giants completed a head coaching interview with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak on Saturday, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

The interview was conducted virtually via Zoom, allowing Kubiak to remain with the Seahawks as they prepare for their wild-card playoff game on Sunday.

Kubiak, 38, has quickly become one of the most sought-after candidates in this coaching cycle. After serving as the New Orleans Saints’ offensive coordinator in 2024, he joined Seattle’s staff and has drawn widespread praise for his creative play-calling and player development.

His name first surfaced in the Giants’ search late last month and gained momentum after the team formally requested permission to speak with him earlier this week.

The Giants are conducting an extensive search. While reports indicate they remain primarily focused on pursuing former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, they have already interviewed Mike Kafka, Antonio Pierce, Kevin Stefanski, Raheem Morris, and Vance Joseph.

Denver Broncos special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi will also receive an interview.

New York has already satisfied the NFL’s Rooney Rule.
