Former Cincinnati Bengals coaches keep popping up in interesting places when it comes to the leaguewide head-coaching search.
Former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is the latest name making the rounds. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Anarumo will interview with the New York Giants for their vacant head coach position on Tuesday.
Anarumo was a staple of the hiring cycle as a member of the Bengals. He continues to be a hot name on the market after this last successful season with the Indianapolis Colts.

Things didn’t end well between the Bengals and Anarumo before Zac Taylor elected to move on, but he wasn’t without a job for long. The Colts enjoyed a strong defense this year before injuries and struggles ended their season early.
Now, Anarumo remains on the minds of NFL teams as the hiring cycle gets ready to seemingly swing back toward defensive-minded head coaches.
